GARDEN PHOTOGRAPHY FOR RHS MALVERN SPRING FESTIVAL 2026 BY FIONA WALSH
HOORAH! the RHS Malvern spring flower show is back. 2026 has come around fast, and we are at another show.
I had the pleasure of being the garden photographer for Ian McBain of Tythorne Garden Design for his show garden ‘ONE’. He is now a triple award winner, winning a gold as well as ‘best show garden’ and the RHS Environmental Innovation Award.
Another gold medal went to Tom Saunders and team for their Malvern show garden Lifted By Birds, and a team from Korea grabbing a silver medal for Blessings From the Sea. The effort involved from the garden designers, the landscapers, the plant suppliers and more is over-worldly. Often taking a year in the planning, you really gotta love what you do, and clearly this shows.
I was also the photographer for a couple of garden designers who were creating Beautiful Borders, which is a new feature for RHS Malvern 2026.
